Wood Solutions is based in The Hague, Netherlands and started in 2000 with the supply of FSC certified wood products (from responsible forest exploitation) . Wood Solutions is a Pty Ltd company, which imports timber and timber products from well managed plantations in Africa and supply these to the European Water Works Industry. This industry applies timber in the area where water and land meets, hence the maintenance of water channels, coastal protection projects, yacht harbours, marina's and wharfs. This infra-structure is usually controlled by Governments, which especially in Holland, does not allow any treatments and do not want to use timber from tropical rain forests. The main product of Wood Solutions is: FSC certified Hardwood Poles (Piles) with the highest natural durability (class 1 = Very Durable) , including resistancy to the Marine Borer (Teredo navalis) .
